mardi le 3 mars: Homework: Prepare for our "Chaises Philosophiques" activity tomorrow by thinking about this question: Est-ce que les bénéfices du clonage sont plus importantes que les dangers? Write at least 3 statements that describe the benefits and then 3 statements describing the dangers. You can use evidence from the article we read yesterday, but should also research more details on line.
lundi le 9 mars: We did another practice sheet for the idiomatic expressions. It is attached below. You can check with your partner or me to verify your answers. An oral presentation was assigned and is also attached below. You need to be prepared to present Thursday (Vincent, Latifah and Colas). Choose a Francophone country other than le Canada, la Suisse and la Cote d'Ivoire. Begin researching the country you previously did. If you cannot find enough information then choose a different country. France is your last resort. Vocab sentences from le Mur were also collected today. Quiz on these words will be Thursday or Friday. The multiple choice questions from the AP site are now due on FRIDAY.

Latifah, I distributed textbooks so that you can keep up with the next theme: La Vie Contemporaine. I have a copy for you, so text me if you would like to meet up and I can get it to you. Each student picked a sub-context for the theme to research over the shut-down. You have "Les Voyages". We discussed that you should find a French song that goes with the theme, find at least one reading, one graph and one listening resource to go with it, prepare a summary of each, prepare a list of new vocab from each. It is important that you keep doing something (read, write, listen) in French DAILY. I will be texting the group when I add something to the Weebly site for you to do. I will assign you a task (email, etc...) each week we are off.

mardi le 17 mars: 1. Corrigez les phrases de pratiques d'hier avec la clef au-dessous. 2. Ecoutez votre chanson que vous avez choisie hier. Trouvez les paroles et envoyez-les-moi par email. Incluez une liste de nouveaux mots et leurs sens en français. 3. Trouvez une lecture du contexte que vous avez choisi pour la vie contemporaine. Vous pouvez choisir quelque chose du texte "Themes" ou quelque chose que vous trouvez en ligne. Aujourd'hui et demain, lisez attentivement la lecture, formez une liste de nouveaux mots et leurs sens (nous allons les partager) et écrivez un sommaire de la lecture. Vous devriez commencer a faire cette tache aujourd'hui et finissez-la pour demain. Envoyez-moi votre travail demain avant 3 heures. Envoyez-moi un texto si vous avez des questions.
